Town Clean Up Week

Price: FREE

Location: Avon, Colorado

Celebrate the changing of seasons by joining the Town of Avon for Town Clean Up Week, Sunday May 10 through Saturday, May 16. Residents, families, businesses, and community groups are invited to help give Avon a spring refresh.

Each May, Avon hosts a Clean Up Week that involves cleaning up landscaping and trash from residents’ properties. In addition, this year, we’re asking everyone to come together and clean up our neighborhoods during this week-long event. Registered Town Clean Up volunteers will help beautify public spaces, including roadways, trails, and landscaped areas, ensuring our town remains a beautiful place to live and visit.

Town Clean Up has become a flexible, week-long effort that allows volunteers to participate on their own schedules. Check out the How-To section below to learn more about how to volunteer!

How to Volunteer:
Step 1: Round Up Your Team

Clean up on your own, as a family, with neighbors, a group of friends, or even as a business!

Step 2: Pre-Register and Sign the Waiver

All volunteers must pre-register and sign the event waiver to participate. Registration includes entry into a raffle drawing at the Sustainability Fair on Saturday, May 16 (must be present to win).

Step 4: Pick Your Zone

Select a zone using the map, here. Please use extreme caution when cleaning up along roadways.

Step 5: Get Out There!

Volunteers may clean their selected area anytime during Town Clean Up Week. Once finished, tie off the bags and leave them in the zone for collection by Avon Public Works staff.
