Celebrate spring and take the next step toward a more sustainable Avon at the annual Sustainability Fair on Saturday, May 16. Join fellow community members and local sustainability experts for a fun, interactive day filled with hands-on learning experiences, live music, and great food. Enjoy free ice-cold beer and delicious food provided by Ein Prosit (while supplies last) as you explore all the Sustainability Fair has to offer, including live music performed by local musician Al Maul.

Discover ways to make your home and business more sustainable through a series of educational demonstrations and best practices in waste diversion through composting and recycling, water-wise landscaping, energy conservation and so much more.

And new this year, the Electric Social, where attendees can view and compare a variety of electric vehicles and e-bikes, talk to EV owners, and gain a better understanding of how electric transportation options can fit into everyday life. Be sure to bring your E-bike for a tune-up or diagnostic provided by onsite local retailers. Whether you’re just curious or ready to make the switch, this exciting new addition is not to be missed!

The Sustainability Fair also wraps up Town Clean Up Week, which takes place at your own pace beginning Sunday, May 10. Participants are encouraged to join in the clean up throughout the week, then head to the Sustainability Fair to celebrate your efforts! Prizes for Town Clean Up participation will be awarded during the Fair (must be present to win).
