Dancing in the Park

Dancing in the Park returns to the neighboring Town of Avon at the performance pavilion at Nottingham Park for a one-of-a-kind and participatory performance for dance fans of all ages. Free and open to all, the program features Festival Artists, Colorado Ballet, Rennie Harris Puremovement American Street Dance Theater, and performances by Celebrate the Beat.

Avon is committed to fostering a culture of environmental stewardship through waste reduction, energy conservation, and sustainable event practices. In 2025, Avon-produced events diverted 87% of event waste from the landfill, totaling over 5,000 pounds, thanks to the collective efforts of our vendors, staff, and zero waste partners.

Eagle County has a waste diversion goal of 40% waste diversion and 80% organics diversion by 2030. As part of these efforts, the Town’s Recycling Ordinance, effective November 1, 2023, requires all residents, businesses, and visitors to recycle.
