Experience autumn at its finest in the heart of the Rockies at Avon’s FreeFall Bluegrass Festival, October 9–11, 2026, in beautiful Harry A. Nottingham Park. New to Avon in 2026, FreeFall Bluegrass Festival finds its new home, where live music, mountain scenery, and community come together beside beautiful Nottingham Lake and beneath the fall foliage of Beaver Creek.
Throughout the weekend, festivalgoers are invited to enjoy high-energy performances from top-tier bluegrass artists, set against one of Colorado’s most scenic backdrops. Crisp mountain air, vibrant fall colors, and a welcoming community atmosphere create the perfect setting for a three-day celebration of music and the season.
Avon’s FreeFall Bluegrass Festival will be introducing ticketed entry, including an elevated VIP experience. Ticket prices will remain accessible and will go on sale in mid-April.

Sustainability: Remember your reusable water bottle – Plastic-Free Event!
Avon is committed to fostering a culture of environmental stewardship through waste reduction, energy conservation, and sustainable event practices. In 2025, Avon-produced events diverted 87% of event waste from the landfill, totaling over 5,000 pounds, thanks to the collective efforts of our vendors, staff, and zero waste partners.
Eagle County has a waste diversion goal of 40% waste diversion and 80% organics diversion by 2030. As part of these efforts, the Town’s Recycling Ordinance, effective November 1, 2023, requires all residents, businesses, and visitors to recycle.
