Get ready for a local favorite—the Avon Egg Hunt is back at Harry A. Nottingham Park in Avon, promising an egg-citing time on Saturday, March 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Bring the whole family, loads of energy, and egg baskets for a morning packed with fun. This free community event invites families to join in the festivities, featuring a coloring contest, jelly bean guessing game, thrilling inflatable attractions, balloon artists, face painters, craft stations, and a special visit from the Avon Bunny!
But wait, there’s more! Ten thousand eggs will be filled with toys and candy for the Egg Hunt. The hunt will be organized by age, open to children nine and under. Within the Egg Hunt Arena, there will be three separate hunts—two for each age group, ensuring participants stay within their category. A dedicated area for children three years and under will feature their own bouncy house and Egg Hunt. Remember, the Egg Hunt is a bully-free zone, and we encourage all parents and children to show respect and kindness towards one another.
To enter the coloring contest, simply download the form or cut out the advertisement in the Vail Daily on Friday, April 15, and bring it to the Town of Avon tent at the Egg Hunt. Let your creativity shine as you color the ad, and don’t forget to fill out the information section at the bottom. Prizes will be awarded for the most imaginative coloring in each age group, with winning entries displayed at the Avon Recreation Center.
“We are eager to once again host the Egg Hunt in our community,” said Danita Dempsey, CASE Manager at the Town of Avon. “We hope the community and their families come out and join us on March 29 16 for this “egg”cellent event,” she continued.
