Avon’s beloved Fireworks in Avon tradition returns on Saturday, January 17 at Nottingham Park! Beginning at 5:30 p.m., enjoy free hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps (while supplies last), plus Beaver Creek’s famous cookies before the fireworks begin at 6:00 p.m. The show is choreographed to music broadcast in the park and live on KZYR Radio – it’s a dazzling winter spectacle you won’t want to miss.
Take one of Avon’s buses to Nottingham Park or watch the fireworks from your balcony. No matter where you are viewing them, they will be sure to surprise and delight!
Staff Tip: Our favorite spot to watch the fireworks is on the Terrace which is located on the back side of the Avon Pavilion next to Nottingham Lake.
